Superman fan foils villain

A Superman fan leapt into action and foiled a real-life crime after tackling a shoplifter - while dressed as The Man Of Steel. Quick-thinking Luke Junior, 24, was wearing the iconic blue and red caped outfit as he took part in a charity fundraising event outside a shop. But Luke was forced to turn into a real hero after his finely honed senses spotted a thief running out of the store being chased by staff. Luke - who is nicknamed Superman after previously pulling two men from a car accident - grabbed the shoplifter. Families cheered as he made a citizen's arrest and held on him until two police officers arrived at the scene outside the Heron Foods frozen food shop in Sheffield, South Yorks.
