Interview of Lindsey Vonn after her SG Run of the SC!

Interviewer: How difficult was it and where were the big problems?

Lindsey: I think I’ve to honest and this was a joke. I never skied a Super G like that. The snow was so bad and the slope also broke. From my view it was to dangerous and I also a so much fog in the bottom that i couldn’t see something. I just got slower because i didn’t want to risk something in the Super Combine. I think it’s a pity that we race because it doesn’t look good for the sport and it’s to dangerous for the athletes.

Interviewer: Bad decisions with the breaks. A long break before you and Zettel skied and so there were different conditions for everyone.

Lindsey: Yeah sure there are a lot of problems in this situations. I understand that there are many people here and that we want one race in Bansko. It is to dangerous with the postponements & they also salted the snow in the bottom. The snow isn’t good enough to ski.

Interviewer: You don’t have any injuries. You came safe tot he finish?

Lindsey: Yeah it was really important for me to come safe to the finish! I think when i’m not under the top 5 in the Super G i won’t ski the Slalom. I’ll wait a bit but i think it also won’t be so good for the Slalom.
