balmy, fragrant breeze
trees that sway with the rhythm
like the mid summer night's dream

stalks that kiss the ground
with the weight of flowers
fragrance of wet earth under feet
long awaited soothing showers

solitary silent thoughtful strolls
on long forgotten paths
memories that keep coming back
like the blistering burning wraths

evening shadows that follow me
like a treacherous thief
clouds that cover the rising moon
and the noise of rustling leaf

once bright golden light of noon
that has turned deep purple
i feel the beauty created by lord
and my mind content and supple
