While you were sleeping,
All snuggled in your bed,
The moon lit up your room,
The stars twinkled above your head.

While you were sleeping,
Wrapped beneath your sheet,
The winds were whispering stories,
The dreams were turning sweet.

While you were sleeping,
And waiting for today,
I was always there beside you,
Seeing the night turn to day.
