Deep dark secrets
Languishing in private domain,
Somewhere in a closet,
In the corner of my brain.

Or is it a place hidden, some hole
At the bottom of my heart?
Surely they can be nowhere,
If nothing else, wandering in my soul,
For a start.

They seem to say something,
Of which I not know,
The deep dark secrets,
Are wanting to grow.

They will live as long,
As my days are here,
These deep dark secrets
One day,

Will be lost on the way
Up the stairs.
