Sugarcane Daliya

Description

Recipe to prepare "Sugarcane Daliya":

Ingredients:
1 tbsp clarified butter/ghee
1 inch cinnamon
5 small/green cardamom
1-1/2 bowl cracked wheat/daliya
350 ml sugarcane juice

Method:
Heat clarified butter in a deep pan, until it melts.
Add in cinnamon and 1 small cardamom. Mix well.
Add cracked wheat; stir and saute on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
Turn the flame low, and add sugarcane juice. Stir well.
Cover the pan, and let it simmer on medium flame for 3-5 minutes, until thick.
Uncover the pan, and keep stirring on high flame, until it dries out.
Add 4 cardamoms. Mix well for a while, and put off the flame.
Sugarcane Daliya is ready to serve.
