What is it of this act,
that marks those partaking
with the musk like scent
of betrayal?
That lingers around you
like a mantle of deceit.
That leads to raw,
Illicit coupling;
the unacknowledged.

Deftness of hand
deceives the heart.
De facto,
the unacknowledged.
Your lingering kiss
leaves sweet sugar taste
on my tongue,
but this treachery’s name
cannot be spoken
