SUD SOUND SYSTEM live @ Main Stage 2009

The release of the single “Fuecu/T’a sciuta bona” in 1991 marked the beginning of the adventure of Sud Sound System, which celebrates now twenty glorious years of activity since that hictoric moment. In those days, they had the great intuition of mixing the fire of the dancehall with the Mediterranean rythms so they could enter into the hearts of the common people in Salento, as reggae gets to the hearts of the “guetto sufferers” in Jamaica.

Album after album, they have grown over the years becoming a strong point of reference for the Italian reggae and an inspiration for many young artists who have followed them. After playing for the first time at Benicàssim last year, Sud Sound System returns to the Sunsplash to stir strongly the fire of our passion!
