Succeeding As A Black Single Father

College professor, author and public speaker Bill Davis, lovingly known as Baba (Swahili for “father”), defied low expectations and false narratives of Black fatherhood by raising four children to productive adulthood as a single dad. Davis, the founder of Baba’s Legacy, joins Beyond The Hype to share lessons from his fatherhood journey, and the critical importance of forming villages of support around today’s Black fathers for future generations to advance, thrive and prosper.
