Subaru now offers its Lineartronic continuously variable automatic transmission with diesel models. In the last few years, the company has been banking on the CVT technology for all its automatic transmissions. Drive it! tested the new transmission in the Forester compact SUV with the 2-liter, 108-kilowatt diesel boxer engine.
