Sub-zero cold spell easing _ 021119

Good afternoon, it was another freezing cold morning but what's expected to be the season's final cold snap should ease from this afternoon and will hover below the seasonal norms before climbing back to what we would normally have around this time of year by tomorrow.

Taking a closer look at today's daily highs... Seoul,... getting up to 2 degrees Celsius this afternoon, mid single digits for most areas. There'll be mostly sunny skies along with clean air.

Enjoy the clean air while it's here, as the weather warms up tomorrow it's very likely we'll see polluted air, meanwhile dry weather alerts remain in effect for most of the country while a warning is still in place for Seoul. Drink plenty of water and apply a good amount of moisturizer.

Those of us in the capital area will have to wait until Friday to get relief from the dry air, while temperatures will be much more bearable.
