What is 'truth?' The words which are short, beneficial to others, suitable to hear for others etc is called truth. There should be no 'aagraha' (overt insistence) in truth. Basically, truth should be: beneficial, brief and pleasant. And more importantly, not to hurt anyone is the biggest truth. We should strive not to hurt anyone. If we lie to someone or hurt someone, we should repent for it. It is better to bring about a solution to problems by discussing them, rather than living in misunderstanding.
