Study finds too many children not receiving care needed

A new study has found Australia's child protection system is in crisis with too many children taken into care not receiving the help they need. The study by the Australian Catholic University also found the child protection workforce is ill-equipped and do not have the necessary qualifications. The report's authors, professor Daryln Higgins says the study finds services arenot doing enough to keep children out of harmful environemnts.
