Benin, West Africa. Three enigmatic travellers visit local photo-studios. They use a collection of grotesque, iconic masks as vehicles for smuggling themselves across a cultural threshold. The interventionist, creative documentary tells a story of harshness and marvel – of attempted encounters.
In thirty-five bewildering minutes the three protagonists will try to achieve what they envisioned – and crash against their own image in the mirror.
