[STS-135] External Tank Mated With Solid Rocket Boosters
Description
In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, technicians attached the external fuel tank and two solid rocket boosters on April 25. The tank and boosters will help launch the last space shuttle flight ever, space shuttle Atlantis' STS-135 mission to the International Space Station. Launch is targeted for June 28. The external tank, designated ET-138, arrived at Kennedy in July 2010.
