Strong winds bring effective temperature down to -19 degrees Celsius

Now on to the weather,... the extreme cold gripping the nation is expected to last through the weekend.
On Saturday morning, the mercury dropped to minus 10-point-7 degrees Celsius in Seoul,... but with the wind chill,... it drops further down to minus-19.
Cold wave advisories have been issued in the central regions and the northern parts of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
The west coast and southern Jeju Island will also see some snowfall.
The cold weather is expected to ease gradually from Monday afternoon.
