On October 5, 2017, Capcom announced Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, set for release on January 16, 2018. The game will include codes for all of the DLC characters from seasons 1 and 2, as well as new interface graphics, two new gameplay modes (Arcade Mode and Extra Battle Mode), and one more V-Trigger per character. The game is both a free downloadable update for owners of the original game, and a standalone retail game sold at a reduced price
