Stonebridge Elementary School in Heyward, California is making headlines across the country because of its unique program: buyback of toy guns. The school’s principal believes that toy guns desensitize children, so they’ll want real ones later. However, a spokeswoman for Responsible Citizens of California says that "having a group of children playing cops and robbers or cowboys and indians is a normal part of growing up."
