Storm Pounds U.S. Northeast Causing Floods & Evacuations

A powerful storm is threatening to flood parts of the U.S. coast. Seawater on Friday flowed onto some coastal streets around Boston. Businesses have set up flood barriers and piled sandbags around their doors. Over 700,000 homes and businesses were without power in the U.S. Northeast. Hundreds of flights were canceled at New York’s three major airports. The federal government closed offices in Washington.
