Storm Doris batters Liverpool

Impressive footage has emerged of strong winds battering the banks of the river Mersey in Liverpool, UK.

The footage, shot on Thursday morning, shows winds brought by Storm Doris blowing the river water onto the banks.

"Working up the courage to walk up the river mersey front to our Liverpool city centre office. I've decided to have a go, wearing all of my snowboarding gear. Wish me luck!" the filmer wrote online.
