This early session probably came after the actual recording - which features production and guitar solo by Nick Lowe. While it is possible they were simply practicing for their live show with a camera in the room, most likely they were blocking for a possible video shoot. This was the only cover on Pretenders 1st record, originally by Ray Davies and The Kinks.
