Stonewall 50 Years Later
1 Views • Jun 28, 2025
Description
Pride is about more than being able to love who you desire openly. It is also about being able to freely express yourself and be safe while doing so.
Remember, it started as a riot after peaceful protests and attempts to make places out of the way of others did not prevent LGBTQIA persons from being harassed, abused, and in the worst cases murdered due to their choices to be authentic to themselves.
Let us never forget what happened at Stonewall that day, nor the many transgender persons who were activists and advocates for change that was and still is desperately needed. #bricks #StonewallUprising #RememberStonewall
