Wall Street dipped on Tuesday, weighed down by tech stocks, in a trading session ending early ahead of the U.S. July 4th holiday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined half-a-percent to end at 24,174, while the S&P 500 lost the same amount to close at 2,713.
The Nasdaq dropped almost zero-point-nine percent to 7,502.

Shares edged up Tuesday as gains by chipmakers offset declines in other major industrial sectors.
The benchmark KOSPI added just over one point, or zero-point-zero-five percent, to 2,272.
The secondary KOSDAQ rose six points, or three-quarters of a percent,... to 795.
