East -
I enter life's golden circle
born on the wings of the Eagle.
My birth is in the Spring,
when Raphael's blossoms fill the air
with the fragrance of stars.
The rising Sun behind me
opens wide the world;
and opens up my mind.
I am Aries.

South -
Here in this summer-place the world is Red.
The Mountain Lion walks warily beside me.
I am a youth with fire in my heart.
I feel in this moment the warmth of Uriel,
radiant in the noon-tide sun.
I am Cancer.

West -
I walk into darkness with courage.
A great shaggy Buffalo is grazing in the Autumn mist.
I sense the strength of my body
as the strength of the earth.
With the eyes of a grown man
I see how the past has brought me here.
I look inside without fear or pride;
and see Michael in the setting sun.
I am Libra.

North -
It amazes me that I have grown so old.
The midnight sky shines above me.
The night-sun turns my gray braid white.
I hear the sounds of the many creatures 'round me:
I know they live inside me.
The sound of Gabriel's voice,
like the sound of many waters,
will carry me into the future.
I am Capricorn.

East Revisited -
I leave this world in the beauty of Spring.
Eagle carries me into the sunrise.
Raphael heals all my wounds.
This old ram is going home.
