Steven Sabathie - The Thumb

The powers that be the powers that were
and the powers that are yet to come
grow on the trees mate like the bees
but their powers that are under the thumb

The thumb is the one that changed the fun
before fun was ever to be
and the thumb is the one that came from none
but how did none become three

The thumb is the one that's always done
all the mystical magical deeds
and the thumb is the one that we come from
so why are we displeased

If the thumb is the one where power comes from
is power just energy
and if the thumb is the One and only One
then who the hell are you and me

The powers that be the powers that were
and the powers that are yet to come
grow on the trees mate like the bees
but their powers that are under the Thumb.
