Steven Rodriguez - Tame the beast

To give her comfort at the least
I was sure I could save her peace
Stormy clouds hovered for a while
Stop at nothing to savor a smile

All who witnessed falls cried to me that I could not tame
The beast's whose intentions were constant mind games
To prove them wrong would equal two wins
To tame the beast is its only reason

The plan was simple show absence of care
My plan petrified by her medusa stare
The clouds seemed to diminish with an all night nestle
Sadly good feelings don't last, and love morphs to pestle

Although lost, all cards are seen
Out of the trans, warped by the two diamonds green
I'm only left with a small touch of rain
While the storm that covers her will always remain

Some dead, some happy, some careless, and some hurt
I pity thee who will never find such comfort
The Earth will keep rotation enriched with land and sea
Fate's twisted turns, now's the beast's turn to tameth me.
