Steven Robinson - The Great Ship Breakfast-Time-Fun

Oh know what have I done, I spilt the milk and the cats on the run.

An insect lands on my breakfast, I fight it with my spoon, and I pretend I am a swashbuckler in melee with captain fly.

The kids some in and add to the Frey, we now have a full scale war on today.

Eventually it's the wife that wins and with her newspaper sword kills the feisty six legged pirate, you should see her grin.

Now promoted to Admiral, she says I am the one who conquered the Captain fly, and watches us with her evil eye as she reminds us “clean the deck’s you swabs”.

She is right again, we are a messy lot on the great ship breakfast-time-fun, to sail the seas of endless campaigns of battles with bugs and many legged things that get in the way of our feeding time scenes.
