Heroes won't exist
As long as hesitancy persists
No capes will flow
If our willingness to accept doesn't show

Heroes can't arrive
Unless we learn help is needed to survive
Masks will go unworn
Until our hope is torn

Heroes shall rise
To stop the inevitable demise
Suits shall be worn
To heal all that was torn

Heroes will not cease
They only aim to please
Gauntlets to be strapped
When our fears are capped

Heroes ease the pain
It's that simple and plain
Boots continue to lace
As they find their place

Heroes are here to stay
It has to be that way
Gadgets are employed
As evil is deployed

The hero lives in us
He resides in our trust
The powers lie within
Only when we find our hero will peace begin
