Cold gray steel pressed to my temple,
forcing compliance. Poised
to spit its piercing venom; deliver its searing
lead charge into my brain.

Chaos…peace. Eternity in a moment.

A man even the devil would fear
for he has no soul; nothing to
bargain, nothing to lose.
His finger—my head.
My life—his whim.

Conscience, mercy, humanity. Words of no
consequence; of no regard in
his reality.Live, if it's
convenient. Die? …
so be it.

Deafening burning sulfur sting.
Heart stopping silence.
A heart beat…heart beating
A furious heart beating.
RAGE!
Blind, helpless rage
His finger…My Life.
