Pencil,
Ah, wondrous pencil,
You’re always there,
My faithful companion,
Though you may sometimes break,
You’ll always sharpen back to point
Ready to transfer my every thought
To paper,
Or desk,
Or wall.
Eraser always ready to do away with my mistakes.
Oh my dear friend pencil I owe you so much.
Ah, wondrous pencil
