There was a time….

There was a time when nothing rhymed
Unspoken words inside my mind
And haunting tunes buried within
Pointless thoughts were my chagrin

And so she passed from real to dream
From what once was, to fantasy
Some things in life, they slip away
From shining white they fade to grey.

Then all those years of pointless grief
Were washed away, like fallen leaves
She found me there, and loved me still
One destiny, ours to fulfil

And now it seems my rhymes come free
And words appear so easily
Those tunes once buried and concealed
Are yours to own my heart revealed

I have a choice, I have a chance
I found my girl, I have romance
Two hearts entwined, two souls as one
Two journeys end and one begun
