A child alive in your womb today

We’ll make no plans we have no grand designs
On you and your life
Your little hand won’t be tied with expectations
You’ll be our delight
Just be yourself
Give me a kick
To show you’re alright
Go to sleep

Cry a little through the night

Here alone in this room tonight
I don’t care which sex so long as you’re alright
Boy or girl
You’ll be all my world
As I sit all alone in your nursery
You can’t ever know what you’ll mean to me
Or my wife
You are our life
We’ll make no plans so long as you’re happy
You’ll learn how to climb
Whatever obstacles that get in your way
You’ll clear them in time
Just be yourself,

To show you’re alright
