Stephen Buckley - A Burning Passion

In the middle of the night,
The road was so long,
I travelled many a mile,
To be with my lovers smile,
She opened the door,
In a robe she hardly wore.
The taste of her lips,
That I gently kissed,
Her love had surrounded me,
Made me think of passion so strong,
To her bedroom she led me,
And held me tight,
Our passionate love,
Lasted all the night,
The morning dawned,
Our bodies still entwined,
Her smiling face told me,
She would always be mine,
We hugged and we kissed,
We made love some more,
The moment passed so quickly,
The pleasure was outstanding,
We relaxed exhausted,
Contented with each others love,
Two days and two nights,
Passed so quickly,
I miss my lover so intensly
