STEINITZ: ARABS, HAREDIM MUST REPLACE FOREIGN WORKERS

The future holds more opportunities for Haredim and Arabs, Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz hopes. He opened the Jerusalem Conference, saying the two groups must be brought more successfully into the Israeli workforce. Jobs would be created for those groups by forcing foreign workers to leave Israel. Steinitz argued that Israel must find its place in economic strategy that closes the gaps between rich and poor.
