Staying Safe Over the Holidays

The holidays are a time where we can see a rise in domestic violence. Recently, a story from Kentucky went viral when a 16-year-old girl was rescued from an abusive situation after signalling her distress to motorists using a hand gesture she learned on TikTok. We speak to representatives from Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence (KCADV) who give tips on how to protect yourself and others over the holidays.
