Star Fallows - Fallen Angel

Gardens of flowers line streets, where the empty parade went by

Paper wads roll past... through the gutter

Small drops of water line the eyes of the on lookers

The wind blows, cold chills pass in the open air

The fallen angel sits, crouching in the midle of the barren street

Dingy torn wings hanging off her back like forgotten clothing

Cold, lost; empty, she hugs her legs close

Looking at the dirty world to which she is now a part of

One golden tear falls from her face, the light of it shining for miles

Landing on the cracked pavement, and is gone, forever

The angel weeps....
