Star Dust - Beautiful child

Forgiveness is bright in her eyes,
A friendly smile on her face,
An optimistic mind in play,
Seeking out for the ones in sorrow,
But what does she feel, deep inside,
What a radiant soul she has,
And a place for everyone in her heart,
Listening to the kindness,
Why do we push her away?
Are we afraid?
Is she really so different?
She is the most beautiful of us all,
She sees herself as she is,
And accepts it,
She is a star in the darkness of our minds,
She’s a laugh in an angry crowd,
A rose without horns,
And girl with a deep, loving heart,
With a profound understanding of life in which we should all try and achieve,
Finding ourselves,
She’s done it,
So why can’t we?
