Standoff continues in Alabama
Description
The standoff continues in Alabama as a five-year-old boy is held hostage.
On Friday, police released a photo Jimmy Lee Dykes, the 65-year old man suspected of holding the boy captive.
Authorities say he grabbed the kindergartner from the bus after killing 66-year-old driver Charles Albert Poland.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) WALLY OLSON, DALE COUNTY SHERIFF, SAYING:
"I want to thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
The hostage-taking comes amid a raging national debate over gun violence, after a gunman killed 20 students at a Connecticut elementary school in December.
