Documentary reveals the facts about the Great Purge, genocide, Stalins childhood, life, death and the myth that surrounded him during his murderous rule. The myth of Stalin’s infallibility was assiduously cultivated by the ruling bureaucratic caste in the Soviet Union until his death in 1953. The parvenu bureaucracy, which had usurped the state power, required a supreme arbiter to adjudicate its disputes and to reconcile any differences that might arise among members of the ruling group. During his lifetime Stalin had the last word and final decision.
