Stain Katuli - A Broken Place

A broken place this world is
That needs to be saved;
A torn place this world has been
That needs to be mended:

Our leaders are driven
By the love of power
Not the power of love;

The masses' ears itch
To hear what they want
Not what they need;

The youth willfully opt
To thirst for and get ‘satisfied' with
Sinful pleasures of the dark;

Blood-lust is all over
In circles of men,
For money and its gain;

Treachery is employed everywhere
With no twinge of remorse,
Just for money and its gain;

Deception orders the day,
Lies wonderfully being told;
Truth and honesty remain despised;

Show me fidelity in marriages!
Cite for me trust in courtships!
Ring me godly love amongst mortals!

Curse the darkness no longer—
Switch the light on.
Preach the gospel all over
In all you do and say:
Let who you are
Reflect who the Light is.
