SsangYong Korando DKR Preview

The SsangYong Motorsport team unveiled in Madrid the most powerful argument to overcome one of the most enigmatic and attractive editions of the Dakar, the toughest rally-raid in the world. The Korando DKR will be the best ally of the Oscar Fuertes-Diego Vallejo couple, which after the successes achieved in 2018 (second place among the debutants, fourth in category T1.3 and 30th in the general) and 2019 (third place in category T1 3 and 33 in the general), they hope to get a little closer to the best of the general in a 42nd edition of the Dakar that will be played entirely in Saudi Arabia.

After 30 years in the African continent and 11 years in South America, in 2020 the Dakar moves to the Middle East from January 5 to 17, with a tour that starts from Yidda (Jeddah) and concludes in the new entertainment mega-center Al-Qiddiya , just 40 kilometers from the capital Riad (Riyadh), where the rest day will take place. The planned route is divided into 12 stages with a total of more than 12,000 kilometers between timed stages and links, 5,000 more than the last edition.
