sri tista - Silence

Description
Silence the gentle silence, if I could see you walk
Amidst people you live, amidst people you die
Spell bound you leave each and every one in quagmire.
How deep are your words that I never heard,
How soothing is thy song you render,
Child of words you play with hearts,
Yet when you speak you leave us all apart.
In the world so small you live in marrows of hearts
Thousands of us know, a thousand that know not
You are the language of the love, language of the soul,
Around the thoughts of each of us like a sovereign you rule
Gentle like a zephyr you blow, yet like a gale some time you roar,
Like a fire you can smolder hearts of hay, like a rain you can wash away sorrows lying dismay,
I see you in the air of happiness and gay, I see you by the gloom of the grave,
You speak when words fall apart, yet we fail to feel you presence in our hearts.
In color of water I see you miles apart; we shall meet the day I shall depart
