Sreeja Sreedharan - THE PRINCESS
2 Views • Jun 14, 2014
Description
In her silvery dress, to the tune of an unheard song.
Her feet paint in sand, sweeping and swirling,
Spilling trinkets, her little treasures, with every step of hers.
Breeze, spells out his secrets in her ears, filling the air with-,
The sound of her laughter, echoing with ecstasy.
The veil of darkness removed, comes the break of dawn,
And she basks in the golden rays, a melody on her lips.
Gently she waltz, to a tune of her own,
The princess she is, the princess of her land.
Gentle yet elegant, she looks on, from her palace,
As moments shed, from the great tree of time.
Then she rise from throne, with a tremor in her heart,
Gentle no more, anger writ in her eyes.
In her stride, she captures, beholders of land; mortals,
The land taken, destroyed, her fury undone.
‘Tsunami’, her warrior, toys the world around,
And yet, she looks on, gentle and elegant,
The princess she is, the princess of her land.
