Squirrel Chases Hawk Away

Occurred on October 5, 2022 / Dickinson, Texas, USA

: "My boyfriend and I had been home from work for about an hour and we have a little squirrel who always hangs out in a tree by our living room window. We saw the squirrel in the tree and then a few minutes later he was across the yard looking up at a hawk. I was worried he was about to become a meal, but he showed no fear jumping up the pole where the hawk was perched. Once he made sure he had chased the hawk off, the squirrel came running back, then proceeded to climb up the pole the hawk had been scoping him out just seconds before, to show he was in charge there."
