Spence Packer - Sensory

I want to do with words what artists do with paint.
Have some words that are bold and bright, others foggy and faint.
I want my words to be vivid, and easily seen.
Hear the words, taste the words, as if made of whipped cream.
Please try to touch my words as if they are my skin.
Smell my words if you would, it ma be hard but try.
Do they smell like toffee, coffee, or crisp apple pie?
If I said close your eyes and imagine a most beautiful scene,
put in it whatever you like for this is your dream.
What do you picture now?
A blue sky with white clouds, a green pasture filled with cows?
Maybe a beach with warm sand underneath your feet.
A purple-red, and orange sky where your eyes horizon meets.
Maybe you picture a room with no one inside but tu.
But now this is my picture and I drew myself in next to you.
