Special programme to be introduced to make caring for disabled a profession

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will be introducing a special training programme for caregivers of people with special needs and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Its minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the training programme expected to be implemented next year would help in turning the job of caregivers for the concerned group into a profession and not simply on a voluntary basis.
