For the last three days... free advise is being given to women... one message is from the Andhra DGP, the other from Karnataka's Women and child welfare minister-but the subtext of both the messages , the same:
1. Women should know how much skin to cover
2. Provocative dressing invites rape.
Now lets understand what these two men are trying to say.well implicit in such thinking the patriarchal notion that some women get attacked sexually because they 'ask for it'... which is totally at odds with the liberty and freedom that a woman assumes and lives with...So is the rape victim the offender Mr DGP and Mr Karnataka Minister
