Spain government steps into Iberia dispute

Pilots at Spanish airline Iberia went on strike again on Friday, the latest in their scheduled Monday and Friday stoppages in protest at the conditons and creation of the low-cost offshoot Iberia Express.

The pilots say this will lead to 8,000 job losses.

The government has now stepped in to announce an arbritrage, whose decision will be binding on both parties.
