Spain faces flack after lackluster Euro2012 stage win

Midfielder Andres Iniesta and coach Vicente del Bosque were called on to calm fans and respond to critics after the Spanish national team's lackluster showing against Croatia, despite Spain's ending up atop its group and advancing to the quarterfinals.

Iniesta said the team also suffered during the match, but asked for calm and confidence from fans and journalists back home.
