SpaceX Starship rocket explodes during first test flight

Starship, the most powerful rocket ever built, explodes during its maiden flight on Thursday, April 20, 2023 (Friday in Manila). But Elon Musk congratulated his SpaceX team on an 'exciting' test of the spacecraft. The spacecraft failed to separate from the first-stage rocket booster and the rocket disintegrated in a ball of fire over the Gulf of Mexico.
